Step 1: Select a photo for editing and open

Snapseed’s interface is quite intuitive. When you open this app for the first time, it will ask you to open the image for editing.

For this, tap anywhere on its main screen.

You can open any image stored in Google Drive or your device.

Step 2: Straighten the photo

If you find the image to be uneven or if you want it to be rotated 90 degrees up or to the right, tap the Rotate tool.

To do this, tap on the pencil icon in the lower right corner. This will open Snapseed’s toolbox.

Then swipe the slider at the top of the screen with your finger to the left or right.

After making changes, tap on the tick icon at the bottom to save.

Step 3: Crop the photo

If you want to remove some unwanted parts from your photo then you can use the crop tool.

Tap on Crop Top.

You can crop the image by dragging the edge of the rectangle.

After making changes, tap on the tick icon at the bottom to save.

Step 4: Selective Adjustment

With the Selective tool, you can adjust the brightness of a specific part of the image.

Tap on Selective Tool.

Tap on the Vintage Films tool.

Select Center Size and Style.
Swipe the slider above left or right to adjust the value.
You can give a different texture look to the image with the texture icon.
Different styles can be given from the style icon, in which the colour and light of each style are distributed.
To save the changes, tap on the tick icon.

Filter 3: Add drama to your image
Tap on Drama Tools.

Select Filter Strength and Saturation by tapping on the slider icon at the bottom.
Swipe left or right to adjust the value.
You can apply some predefined style from the style icon.
To save the changes, tap on the tick icon.

Filter 4: Fantasy your image

Tap on HDR Scape Tool.

Select Filter Strength, Brightness, Saturation, and Smoothing from the slider icon at the bottom.
Swipe the slider above left or right to adjust the value.
You can apply some predefined style from the style icon.
To save the changes, tap on the tick icon.

Filter 5: Blur the background of the image

Tap the Lens Blur tool.

Select Blur Strength, Transition and Vignette Strength from the slider icons at the bottom.
