What is IIT?
IITs have the status of a world-class institution for the study of engineering, as well as helping to increase India’s scientific influence worldwide through research. The institute is governed by the IIT Act of 1961 and was established with the objective of promoting engineering talent within the country.
All the IITs present in the country fall under the category of autonomous universities, meaning they have the freedom to make their own decisions and make rules. To get admission in Indian Institute of Technology, the candidates have to take two exams, which include JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. These exams are conducted every year by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

How to prepare for IIT without Coaching?
1. Understand the pattern of exams: –
The exam is in 2 levels, one is IIT Mains and the other is IIT Advance.
|Subject||Number of questions asked|
Understand the pattern of exams
This exam is for three hours. Which asks 90 multiple choice questions.
This exam is taken in three sections. Physics, chemistry and math.
30 questions are asked from each of these sections. It is mandatory to bring different pass marks in all sections.
- 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer.
- On giving wrong answers, 1 mark is reduced which we know as Negative marking.
- After leaving a question, neither any number of it is added nor cut.
JEE Advance & nbsp;
Advanced exam is taken completely differently from the main exam.
In this also questions are asked from the same 3 subjects, ie the PCM bus difference is that in this, for each topic, one hour is given separately for each topic and the entire exam is of 3 hours which is 2 times. Happens.
In this section, 10 multiple choice questions are asked in each section, in which only one answer is correct.
It consists of 5 multiple choice questions in which one or more answers are correct and there are 5 such questions whose answers are single digitanswer.
In this section there are 8 multiple choice questions from each section, out of which one answer is correct. There are 8 questions based on one passage.
2. Prepare every subject thoroughly
You have to read the Topic of every subject carefully. Questions will be asked from which topic: –
|Chemistry||Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Status of matter, Redox Reaction Chemical kinetics|
|Physics||Electric devices, Law of Gravity, Laws of Motion, Thermodynamics, Optics, Sound Waves, electromagnetism, Kinematics.|
|Mathematics||Integral Calculus, Differential Equation, Sequences, and series, Co-ordinate Geometry, Matrices, Application of Derivatives, Mathematical induction|
3. Question Create a bank & nbsp;
When you open the official website of JEE, you will get every year questions asked.
You gather the last 4-5 years and try all the questions as well as check your timings according to its pattern.
This will make it easier for you to understand the pattern and you will also be able to test your preparation.
